The Sonoma County Literacy Coalition

Literacy providers for all ages are invited to become members.

        Our Directory of Sonoma County Literacy Resources is now online - go to Providers to search by age group or the alphabetical listing of all agencies.

         Coalition members are invited to participate in meetings held every other month.  These meetings offer an opportunity for members to hear from speakers around areas complimentary to literacy.   Other areas that members are always interested in are  program funding,  how to recruit and keep volunteers, and new ideas about learning for all ages.

            Recent speakers included:

•   United Way of The Wine Country - Schools of Hope Coming to Santa Rosa 2010
•   The Big Read - KRCB & Sonoma County Library Foundation
•   Boys & Girls Club Central Sonoma County - Summer Programs
•   Sonoma County Free Bookmobile 

                Members are invited to suggest speakers for upcoming meetings.
